Dans une interview pas toujours très claire dû à quelques incompréhensions linguistiques, Joao Alves est revenu sur son arrivée au Servette et aux différents objectifs. Pas grand chose de nouveau mais certaines confirmations. Morceaux choisis.

 

Son arrivée au club

Joao Alves a mentionné qu’il ne connaissait pas Mr Pishyar avant son arrivée et c’est par l’intermidiaire d’une personne (que l’on suppose agent) qu’ils ont été mis en contact et se sont rencontrés à Paris pour trouver un terrain d’entente. Point positif: Il semble que les conditions financières qui lui ont été proposées soient satisfaisantes ce qui prouvent que Mr Pishyar sait dépenser son argent quand c’est nécessaire. Autre point positif: Il a obtenu certaines garanties sportives pour construire une équipe compétitive.

Pourquoi son fils est-il là?

Tout le monde s’interpelle un peu de la venue dans ses valises de son propre fils mais ce n’est certainement pas Mr Pishyar qui peut s’en offusquer. Son fils est venu comme personne de confiance et d’expériences car il entraine aussi et cela depuis 6 ou 7 ans. Mr Alves désirait avoir un assistant en qui il peut avoir confiance. Cependant, il a confirmé qu’Oscar Londono restait assistant coach.

Sa vision de l’équipe depuis son arrivée

Le contact s’établit petit à petit et certains joueurs ont mis plus de temps que d’autres à se libérer. Pour lui, ce sont principalement les matchs qui seront révélateurs. Au niveau du groupe, Joao Alves considère qu’il a des bons joueurs avec des bonnes qualités techniques et du talent. Il pense cependant qu’il faut améliorer la consistance  de l’équipe (plus compact) et qu’il devienne difficile de jouer contre Servette. C’est pou lui la première pierre à l’édifice.

Les objectifs

La promotion est prévue dans les 21 prochains mois et c’est l’objectif ultime (les objectifs sont donc clairement fixés). Il puisse sa confiance dans sa grande expérience de footballeur professionnel où il a cotoyé de grands entraineurs et aussi dans sa propre expérience d’entraineur avec les 5 promotions. Il sait que la victoire passe par un certain amalgame autant au niveau sportif qu’au niveau administratif. C’est pour lui un travail d’équipe qui mènera au succès.

Damsceaux maakte een reportage voor Bruja & Co. (MTNL) over het winnen van de Grote Prijs, een nieuwe plaat maken en de releaseparty van M.O. & Brakko in de Bitterzoet. De boys hebben samen met de Raven Bros. een fijne plaat gemaakt als voorbode op hun komende album, dus kwam ik natuurlijk ook langs om ze te supporten. Trouwens, Rotjoch maakte ook een reportage van de release party voor 101Barz.

I’m the only Belle that is not called “Miss”, I guess that’s kind of special so I don’t need a nickname. Personal Bio: I enjoy late night walks on the beach, older dead men….wait a minute….aren’t I technically older? DAMN! Wife and mother, currently unemployed architectural illustrator, Tweetslattern with over 36,000 tweets on my main account, and of course @BillsBelles blogger. ALMOST always in a good mood, which I pride myself on and comes in handy, also I look very good in a bikini.(Yes, I am shameless)
What brought you to Twitter? When was that?: I was posting on the Bill on the Brain thread on the True Blood HBO wiki where I met some of the Belles. @BubbaLives said there were RP’s on Twitter for True Blood and you could talk to them. Being the frustrated actor that I am, I made an account on February 15th to join in. I jumped in with both feet and there was no turning back. It’s been one hell of a ride.
How did you choose your @ name?: “S” is clearly for Shannon with “mey” for part of my maiden name and “kunz” for part of my married name. If you know me, it makes more sense. I get a lot of people saying it sounds a bit dirty. Maybe that’s why I keep using it?
Why is Bill your Vamp?: I’d never been so turned on by a book in my entire life when I read “Dead Until Dark”. Bill grabbed me and yanked me in, figuratively speaking of course.(bummer) I’ll admit to being frustrated and angry with him for some of his actions, but all the while I defended them as he made them. I also love geeks and Bill is a computer using, alien movie watching geek. In addition, Stephen Moyer’s portrayal certainly doesn’t hurt this argument. Couple that with fanfiction Bill (mine specifically), throw in a dash of Twitter Bill and VOILA!
Favorite Bill book/show quote: From the book…..I LOVE when he and Sookie are in Bill’s bedroom and she asks him if he will let her get some sleep. He says “Of course I will…In a little while…Eventually.” T to the H to the U to the D! From the show….It’s not a quote, but a gesture of sorts.When Jessica first rises he has this horrified look on his face; one of a man who has just realized he has a ready made teenage daughter. I lovingly call it “Bill’s WTF face”.

Favorite character from the books/show aside from Bill: I always liked Pam in the books and I think she is way underused on True Blood. As for the show, can I say this without losing my Belle card? I love Lorena. That’s not to say I love what she does to Bill, but she is a great antagonist for him. Undeath can’t be all wine and roses, people! I think the animosity between them was great and I must say I loved seeing Bill’s Vampy side with her, since we all know he has one. She had a bunch of great lines as well, had me in stitches. Sorry Belles and Bill, but she is the ass kicker Shan could never be.
Favorite @VampireBill moment: I enjoy a lurky Bill. In the middle of the day, if I say something and get winked at or my tweet is commented on, I just giggle. Getting busted for saying and doing things late at night that may be unbelle like is pretty funny as well. This happened recently as @MissCassee and I were having a late night Battle of the Bills and he popped up to catch me wearing his face. I laughed until I cried. That never gets old Bill. My all time favorite…One night I was on the Bill’s Belles account and mentioned I needed to run to the store as I was out of salt, detergent, and cheese. About three hours later I was on my regular account and said,” I know I needed salt and detergent but what was the other thing?” Bill popped up and said, “You needed cheese.” That was hilarious!
What would you like to see happen on Twitter in the off season?: I would like to see some Vampires that act scary and Vampy, do Vampiric things like actually kill people, fight each other, bite. Let’s embrace the dark and twisty, people! Bill has done dark twisty things on Twitter and we all liked it, forgave him, and shifted in our seats a bit. So I say bring it on!
Who is your favorite @ character? (other than Bill of course): WOW! I have a bunch. @JaneBodehouse has always been so good to me, baking me cakes and teaching how to smoke tweed @TerryB_fleur hits on me in a very non-threatening way while trying not to twitch, @SteveNewlinJr makes zealotry damned hilarious, @EatatChowPings because San never stops laughing EVER!, @LordBarren for being my favorite crotchety cartoon knight, and @JessicaHamby my Vampy BFF whom I love with all my heart.

I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me in the creation of this blog. It has been my pleasure to inform all of you of funny moments missed, hot pics, TB info, and anything else I have been known to blog. You can all rely on me to keep you in the know, since “It’s what I do”. I love all the Belles (and Bill) and have your backs always. I am thoroughly enjoying the reactions we are getting from our interviews and am so glad we decided to do this. At some point, I would LOVE to interview The Man himself. Don’t worry Bill, I am not interested in what your favorite veggie was as a kid or what your fantasy baseball pics would be, none of that silly human stuff.  You intrigued me recently with your talk about a Vampire war in the 1920’s. Fascinating, indeed. Perhaps we could discuss this at a later date. Again, enjoy the blog and PLEASE…comment on it. I love to hear what you all are thinking and would like to see posted in the future. We have many more interviews to come. Stay tuned….

Willingham Talks JSA

In the second part of his interview with Newsarama, Bill Willingham touched on what is to come in his solo writing stint of Justice Society of America.

“No, I’m not going to diverge too much from what Geoff [Johns] set up, which is the team exists, I think, to train up new heroes. We’re going to continue with that and have some interesting effects on that.”

INTERVIEW: JAMES INGRAM OF FAMOUS STARS & STRAPS

We recently asked our good friend James Ingram to complete an interview for us. James has been instrumental in helping us out and doing a lot for us. If you don’t know who James is, you have definitely heard a good amount of songs that he has either recorded or played guitar on, or both.

Know Your Scene: Messiah

I recently interviewed Messiah, a hardcore band from Columbus Ohio. They are the first Know Your Scene band!

Your band’s name is called Messiah and under Myspace you are listed as “Religious” along with “Hardcore”. Is Messiah an official Christian band?

Matthew: Although our name appears a Christian name and our Myspace says we are a religious band, we are not an official Christian band. We chose to take a detour around being labeled as a “Christian” band and label ourselves as “Religious” instead just because of all the drama and criticism that comes from music critics and fans as well. Don’t get me wrong, we all have some sort of faith with the Lord.

Keenan: I guess we could be labeled a “Religious” band, I think that just because we have a song called “Phil 4:13″ doesn’t make us Christian though. The Bible has some really cool and really graphic passages that kids may not know about but are actually pretty metal (laughs).

Nate: Although I am a believer in God, labeling yourself as a Christian band causes many people to think different things and not see you for who you really are, and that is a musician. Religion is all opinion anyway, right? I could believe in a lot of things. It just widens the window when you don’t categorize yourself as Christian. I am hoping that because of that, we can grow as musicians and be noticed for our skill. Not our genre.

The Columbus Ohio scene is known for hardcore and post-screamo bands. How do you stand out?

Matthew: I think what makes us stand out most in the Columbus music scene is what MESSIAH is comprised with. That and just the raw energy we carry at every show. You won’t be bored….I promise.

Keenan: Our music is rather melodic for deathcore, or metal. Yeah I am influenced by Job For a Cowboy and The Black Dahlia Murder, but who isn’t? They obviously make good music that kids recognize and want more and more of it. However that does not mean we copy them, and that i think is what makes us stand out more, we got catchy vocal patterns, riffs, and super heavy breakdowns so kids can mosh and dance, a broad spectrum.

Nate: I would say that we stand out for a number of reasons. When we write songs together, we play what we want to hear. As if we were a fan, we go by what we would think is sweet for a part, and we jam everything possible into it and make it technical, interesting, and catchy. And we play it with passion. Too many people worry about taking the easy way out by putting a breakdown so that somebody might “move”. And too many people do it to be cool and forget to just rage out and have fun. If there’s no passion or feeling, there will be no movement.

Who and what are your inspirations? How have they influenced you individually and as a band?

Matthew: My number one influence is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Although I do have many other influences in music and my surroundings. I think our lyrics sum up how Christ has really influenced me/the band and our music.

Keenan: I would have to say music that is heavy as shit.

Nate: My inspiration is my lack of care. My band/family/friends are my inspiration. Writing songs, making music. Putting my heart into everything. Drums and metal are a lifestyle to me. Everything else in the world that pisses me off and makes me want to kick a kitten is gone when playing drums. And I hope when we play, it takes away every other persons problems at home, school, or life, and they just have a shit kickin’ good time.

Because of the numerous bands in Columbus, there always seem to be some type of drama. How do you handle it? Do you choose to ignore the drama or do you confront them?

Matthew: Oh man, drama, drama, drama. It really is hard to escape the constant ignorance. Unlike most bands we approached those situations differently, we find it better to stay away from anything that isn’t positive.

Keenan: I guess you could say drama can be used as a tool to put more emotion into ones music, I stay away from it, and don’t try to cause it either, I want our fans and people that come out to the show to have an awesome time. I want them to realize we are on the same level as them, we are not above, or below them, we are right there with them.

Nate: If you want drama, listen to Green Day. This is not about you, or any single person. Underground metal, and music in general, was made to create a get away for kids everywhere to hangout, have a good time, and be away from trouble. You aren’t and will never be bigger than the music. So get over yourself.

You’ve had numerous lineup changes, and it seems like the current band line up is much more solid than the past. What’s the difference between “Messiah v 1.0″ and now?

Matthew: Yeah, the changes were only for the better. Looking back at all of our members/changes all I can see is how much we have improved as a band and family. There is no more arguing and drama between members, we just all seem to mesh well.

Keenan: I originally tried out for the band back in late April, but we are not just a band anymore, we’re a family. If I saw anyone messing with one of brothers I would do my best to break their face.

Nate: They are family to me just as much as Messiah now. The difference being that we are now more focused and all want the same thing. Now if we can stay on track, we will be fine.

For any band that wants to be well known and exposed to the internet world, what do you suggest they do? Myspace? Facebook? Twitter?

Matthew: The best/only way to get well known as a band now a days is through myspace. Myspace is the biggest network for fans and people and is a great way for people to hear your music. Twitter is nice too though….Keeps people updated.

Keenan: Word.

Nate: The world goes further than the internet! Sadly, i haven’t reached the level of some enough to preach about what somebody should do with their band. My suggestion is to gig like crazy and promote, promote, promote. And don’t let anybody get in the way. Just your band and you.

If you could tour with any band, who would it be and why?

Matthew: Hmmm, if I could tour with any band I would definitely choose either The Black Dahlia Murder or For Today. I know, I know, the bands are totally different…I am looking at different aspects though. The Black Dahlia murder just looks like an all around fun band to be around(PURCHASE MAJESTY! Haha).On the other hand, For Today just has the best message that I have seen in any metal band and I really look up to them for that!

Keenan: Jessica Simpson, she’s a babe. I would have to say The Black Dahlia Murder, The Burial, or Dokken.

Nate: TurquoiseChurch….I mean, Whitechapel! No, but really. Anybody that wants to tour with us!

Any upcoming plans for a tour? Record?
Matthew: Well, we had hopes/ plans to tour Spring Break of ‘98…Wait, I mean ‘10 haha. As of right now though, that doesn’t look too promising for us. Being an unsigned band makes things difficult for you when you want to tour….Money is an issue. Speaking of Money though, we are going to be finishing our highly anticipated E.P. in Lemont, Illinois soon and we plan to release that sometime in the winter :].

Keenan: Yeah I want to say that we will be hitting the road in the summer, It’s weird because most of our fanbase is outside of Ohio. Most states touching Ohio have recognized us which is totally awesome, but weird because we can draw more people outside of Columbus than in our hometown. For recording Matt answered that.

Nate: Of course! So be on the lookout.
